Does Tor leave forensic evidence on a computer

If I was to use Tor (portable) from a flash drive, is anything at all left on the computer once it is removed? I know it is recommended to use Tails but sometimes that can be a hassle.

It seems very counter-intuitive that it would but it still sparked my curiosity.

Nothing that isn’t already legal in the United States. I know where you are coming from though lol. @flazza

if it only interacts with nonvolatile memory from the USB, then the only easy way to tell it was used is if the observer is capturing internet traffic while it’s in use, or logs from another service indicating as such.
