i heard that the samsung ram is a great overclocker, i allready have a optical drive and 2 hdds, one is a 200gb sata WD and the other is a 120 gb ide segate hdd, both are 7200 rpm and the whole list is http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=21582186

Is this your first build? For that budget the CPU is kinda crap. Get and fx 4300. Its better for gaming.

You have a pretty solid system, nice work! May we recomend you purchase a aftermarket heatsink? The phenom II stock coolers are louder then heck, it will sound like you have a small hair drier in your case. A 212 EVO($25) will quiet down your case while providing you OC head room for the future if you wish to do it, it can also migrate with you from pc to pc.

I was thinking of getting an evo but it doesnt quite fit the bidget right not..... once my pc is running I want to get a ssd and a evo.    Oh and i have a question about thermal paste... is that artic mx4 really worth the money vs artic silver ceramic

thou i guess i can wait that extra week for the evo

Good sir you do not need either of those as the heatsink will come with thermal paste applied and the EVO comes with paste included. I honestly do not know about those two thermal paste performance numbers mainly because i only use Artic Silver 5 on every PC i built/own. If you give me some time i can look for some benchmark numbers beween those thermal pastes.

I know that the evo does come with the small tube of thermal paste, but every review i read about he evo that mentioned the paste said they used there own paste.

it says that the  fx 4300 has four pile driver cores and it says that piledriver cores are a tuned up version of bulldozer cores.  if i rember correctly bulldozer cores are not as good as real cores.  so shouldnt that make the  fx 4300 be not as good as the phenom?

OK after some further investigating I am not sure what prossecesor to get? phenom 4 vs fx 4300 vs other ideas.

The Fx 4300 Fixed a lot of the Problems Bulldoser had, its Better than the phenom, plus AMD is still going to use AM3+ in the future so if you have a board that supports AM3+ with a High Wattage you mayb bge able to upgrade your processor in the future with an 8 core or something similar.
