Does this make Flash less evil?

See this headline:

Welcome Adobe Animate CC, a new era for Flash Professional

TLDR: Adobe renamed Flash to Adobe Animate, and it can export to HTML5 now with <canvas> and such.

Do you guys think this gives Flash a place in the market again? I know pretty much everybody despises "the old Flash"

You're not making the distinction between the tool and the format imo. The format is dead. The tool (which is what got renamed) is just fine and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

If you export from now adobe animate to .flv it's the same s*t as before. If it can export proper HTML5 than.. well its a good animation program nonetheless.
