Does the Dell Poweredge 2950 Gen 3 Support 3.5" WD Reds?

Hey!

So just a quick question, does anyone know if the wd reds (3.5") drives are supported by the Dell Poweredge 2950 Gen 3 both hardware and software wise?

Depends which RAID controlller you have.
From memory I believe that the PERC 6/i controllers support drives up to 2TB.
I have WD Reds (2TBx2) in my Poweredge r510 and they work nicely.
