Does the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 Work with Linux?

I’m getting the ROG Zephyrus G15 and I was wondering if PopOS and ubuntu works on it?

Shouldn’t be an issue. I’ve run a G14 w/ Pop and currently run a Flow X13 w/ Pop. [GPU switching can be a bit wonky though.]

What does GPU switching mean? I looked it up but i still don’t really understand

Flow X13, has an internal GPU and an external docking assembly [that contains a dGPU]
That is the GPU switching

Basically you have the graphics that are part of the 5900HS (or whatever spec you bought) that the system will use for less demanding tasks. Then you have the discreet graphics for more power hungry tasks like gaming/editing/rendering. In Windows this is a bit more seamless than it will be in Pop.

However, it’s not too bad.

I don’t have the dock, it’s got Vega and an internal 3050 Ti.
