Does the ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0 need a bios update?

I'm planning on using an AMD FX 8320  with the ASUS M5A97 EVO r2.0, and am wondering if it needs a bios update to support this cpu.

no it will work fine out of the box, i own this board with a FX8350 the R2.0 sign means that it comes with bios version 1101 out of the box with vishera support.
