Does anyone know if the intel i3 2100 has locked amount of ram?

Does it allow 1600 ram or does it only allow 1333 like the Pentiums.

The Core i3 is officially spec'd at 1333MHz, but I'd be more inclined to follow motherboard specs. If the motherboard says it supports 1600, go for it. The worse case scenario is 1600 RAM will run at 1333, and given how cheap RAM is, it's no biggie.
