Does anybody know if pcie 4.0 bifurcation risers exist?

Howdy guys. I’ve done a fair bit of searching, but so far I have been unable to find a pcie bifurcator capable of turning on pcie 4.0 x16 lane into 2x pcie 4.0 x8 lanes. The only related thing that I found was a pcb-style bridge by supermicro, but it looked like it had weird input attached for servers and wouldn’t have suited my needs anyway (RSC-X-66-C …way too big). Asrock advertises pcie 4.0 bifurcation on their motherboards, so how did they validate this? Does anyone know if Asrock acquired pcie 4.0 level bifurcation hardware?

They validated bifurcation for use with 2x or 4x m.2 ssd cards, not for muiltiple GPUs or other AIC.

oof. I had assumed that this ("*Supports PCIe riser cards to extend one x16 slot to two x8 slots if you install AMD Ryzen series CPUs") meant that they had validated splitting a pcie 4.0 x16 lane into 2 pcie 4.0 x8 lanes.
