Does and SSD require full HDD wipe for OS?

So, I recently bought a SSD for my OS and a few programs (Samsung 830, if you are wondering). Now to my question: I already have a HDD with my OS on it and i plan on doing a fresh install instead of a transfer. What i am wondering is do i have to wipe my whole HDD and re-install everything just to get rid of my old OS install or can i just plug it back in and make my BOIS read the SSD first?

Yes, You install the SSD, Remore the HDD temporarily. Install windows the install the HDD again. Copy over all the files you wish to keep, Dont forget emails. Then once everything is copied over, Install the programs you want, Copy over saved files you wish to keep in the program folders, usialy in documents and then once happy, format the drive.

Thanks
