Theirs a sale on a Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 750W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Modular Design, Single +12V Rail,ATX12V v2.31/EPS12V v2.92,SLI Ready, Crossfire Ready, Active-PFC Power Supply? I need a 700W, but they only have a 750W do you recommend buying it?
That is a decent power supply how much is it?
Go for it. Those extra wattage can serve as extra protection and you never know when you want to add more components inside your case. It's sometimes good to have an overkill PSU.
If you have the money, go for it.
If you need 700w go +100-300w. It will be much quieter and have less load on the parts. Seasonic g series is on sale same specs except the 24 pin is not modular (who cares you need it lol) but gold cert for $84.99 vs $79.99 and has a better warranty 5 years.
It is a over all good deal. This PSU should last you a long time, Rosewill is a good brand and its modular!
Thanks you guys! I appreciate your feed back
I bought it! This is my first computer part, now I just have more to go. I would buy them all together, but I don't have much money, and I'm looking for work, and I'm student, and I have games I can't play this the saddest time in world history :'(
also I have a question about hard drives I want to get a terabyte, I was thinking about getting a 3t I've noticed that WD have cheap hard drives, but they have low ratings, have any of you guys had purchased WD hard drives? if so, would you recommend them?
I have the exact same one. Never had any problems with it 10/10.
I have used quiet a few Western Digital Blue drives and many Seagate drives, none have failed so far. This may depend on the buyers luck though. Personally choose the one that fits into your budget. They are both great drives and will serve your purpose well.
Don't feel bad about only have one component right now. I am a student and bare got any hours at work. If it was not for purchasing a single component, in my case an 8GB kit of RAM, I would have never even considered getting to the point of building a PC. I probably would have still be playing on my old Xbox 360 or worse, purchased an XBOX One or PS4. Which in my opinion don't offer me very much.
I just got sick of consoles. I had an xbox 360, but microsoft wanted money so I can play, and I just couldn't afford it anymore, and steam came saved me. The only thing that I don't want to happen is that I buy my parts, and then I gotta buy more recent ones just so it can handle games now. I hope that investing 1,500 roughly, will last me a long time. I also want to do triple monitors, any advice for that? I'll buy a hard drive when its on sale, does the bigger the hard drive make it slower? I know that SSD's are really good, but they have little space, or a lot, but they cost you an arm.
