Do You Hear The Hissing Too?

I just got ATHm50s and I love them, but I am not too sure but for some reason on the song "Demons" by Imagine Dragons there is this strange static noise at 58 seconds in, I don't know if that's just the song or if there is something wrong with my headphones can someone please check this out for me here is a link to the song:

Just go about 58 seconds in and tell me if you here static, (ATH m50s are my first really good set of headphones so I don't know if this is just a detail to the song I missed out on with my apple ear buds)

It would be a great help as I am just trying to get into audio production and well I need to know if my headphones are faulty or not, Thanks

EDIT: I realize this is a video of them in a concert but you will also notice the noise in other re-uploads and different versions of the video

I heard it too

It's the recording.

I played the video on my headphones (no the m50s) and I heard hissing.

I played my copy of the song i ripped off the CD i bought and don't hear it.

If it's only one song at one part i can guarantee you that it's the recording and not the pair of headphones

Thanks guys, I'm new to this and don't really know, glad I don't have to RMA my headphones

I sent my friend this thread

My friend (m50s owner) just said it is either a poor recording or sound like really high symbols.

Yeah it's kinda strange to see audio impurities in a main stream professional band

No.

The recording I got off my CD is A OK and there is nothing wrong with it.

the problem you're having is you're trying to listen to music with reasonably good headphones FROM YOUTUBE.

YT is your bottleneck technically speaking.

YouTubes bitrate for audio and video is butt.

To me it's strange because it sounds fine with lower quality headphones

i hear a hissing throughout a large percent of the video, don't really see how anyone could pick out a noise at the moment they switch to a crowd yelling

What headphones are you using?

Btw kinda random but should my headphones be fine if they were on when my hair was slightly wet?

tried sony zx100s, sony j10s (earbuds), superlux 681s (all cheap crap)

though i believe it's more like an effect layered over the top that just makes it sound like a sub par recording

also on the j10 earbuds i did notice the effect get a bit worse at about that point

Uh, I'm using my HD558s and I can ensure you, that hissing noise is not a hissing noise, but just the high hat/tambourine....

Yea it's not a hissing noise, well it is but not bad recording. Like, Hikage said, its probably an instrument that is chorus-specific.
