use defraggler and CCleaner

if you have over 3GB of ram use radeon ramdisk and create a 512MB or larger ramdrive to put your web browser cache on

type in firefox about:config

right click new string

browser.cache.disk.parent_directory

and then the location of your ramdisk

 

on Ccleaner uncheck anything browser related and recycle bin, those things you want to do manually, be sure to uncheck firefoxes on the other "applications" tab

also check windows log files, windows error reporting, old prefetch data, and ISS log files
