Do I buy hd60 s or hd?

I found an elgato hd60 s for $50 that works. However my PC’s GPU can barely handle it from what I’ve found online. There is also a HD for $35 that my pc would handle well. If I’m wrong, please correct me. My GPU is the 7950 ghost cooling and my CPU is the Athlon x4 860k. RAM is patriot 1866mhz.

Just go for HD and you’ll need at least 4GB Ram.

Ok that’s what I thought. I have 8gb so I’m fine. Thanks

I have 32Gb of RAM and it isn’t unusual for me to use 15 and some change just using Firefox, Chrome and skype watching videos. I am starting to think 16gb is a minimum requirement just to watch youtube vids if you are also running ANYTHING else.

Good to know. I actually just built a new rig with ryzen 5 1600, gtx 980 and 16gb of ram

Yeah, it suprises me to see this type of usage fairly regularly. I am putting 64GB in my 2700x build because I see over 50% usage now on 32GB 30000mhz from time to time. Funnily my Linux machine on 4GB never hits the 4GB doing the same things. I am convinced that the more headroom you have the more Windows 10 will use just because it can.
