Do all cores in a E5 Xeon clock to the same turbo speed? (Xeon E5-2630v3)

Hi,

Deciding if I should get dual 8 core xeons for virtualization and workstation purposes but I noticed that the 2630v3 has a turbo of 3.2GHz but I'm worried that this is only for one core and will cause thread desynchronization problems. So is it only one core that gets the max speed or all cores, and if so the former can I change this in the BIOS?

My board hits 2.6 on all cores with dual 2630v3 under full load.

Here is a good post by puget systems. They mirror my results of 2.6ghz across all cores.

Hmm. No more cheap workstations for me then.
