I support a client with a color grading PC. It has been largely unchanged for several years, but I am receiving a complaint from a colorist who is rendering DNxHR (generated on the PC in Davinci) to ProRes on a Mac via Adobe Media Encoder (final file needs to be delivered in ProRes). The particulars of codecs are outside the scope of general IT support, but I figured I’d drop the question here in case anyone knows the answer. Apparently the ProRes is rendering too dark, so I don’t think it’s this issue, but again, outside of my expertise, so idk.
