DNS probe finished no internet issue

Hi all,

i'm having an issue with getting on the internet after a power outage. I've tried uninstalling the network adapters then letting windows reinstall them. System restore. Can't access TCP/IPV4 properties its not enabled then I tried enabling it via cmd line didn't work. Restarted my modem as well. Also ran malware bytes + various malware tools to see if there was any malware causing the problem, no luck. using windows 7.

edit: also did safe mode with networking same issue.

Any ideas?

Control panel > Network and internet > Network and sharing center > Change adapter settings > select your adapter > properties > enable ipv4

Still nothing.

Go into your router settings make sure your 'obtain ip address from isp' is on, and that your dhcp is correct for your provider.

I can get on my internet just not with my desktop, currently on laptop.
