So I ordered this from Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131532R . Everything looked fine, it looked brand new to be honest. I installed it plugged in the 2 6pins and turned on the machine. On the Bios it showed 2 decent sized red lines going vertically down the screen. Once windows tried to load it show a screen with red/black textures with white lines going horizontal.( https://www.dropbox.com/s/agyhbvv4tb5wdb8/2014-06-23%2015.19.28.jpg ) It went blank after a few moments then the pc restarted. Think i would update the drivers at amd first. If it still has a problem send it back.

Think msi has some versions that are well thought of. I only have two 7870s . I like His version of my 7870. Use the newegg most reviews function. It will help you to see the purchasing trends and give you some feedback about the purchase. I havent really looked at them closely since i have two crossfired 7870s. My next purchase is going to be 290 aftermarket and oc the dogsnot out of it.

Yeah I've been looking into the MSI one for awhile but the PowerC was cheap at the time....definitely going to get it this time tho.
Ya, sometimes the open boxes don't work out. Best thing with those is too just send it back if there are any issues at all.
