my question is i have a DIR-868L at the moment, is it worth upgrading if it even is an upgrade for me? i do a lot of file transfers over wireless so im wondering if its any faster than what i have at the moment.
It has more antennas (depending how the dlink works), and is slightly faster (depending on your clients wifi adapter), and has 1 1gbit NIC to dlinks 4. apart from that theres potentially not much difference. Id hazard a guess and say it will have a faster CPU as well.
Its also using a Gentoo derivative btw.
As for is it worth upgrading.. probably not unless your current one isnt doing it for you.
