Digital Art Pc

Basically I have acquired some studio space and I need a second computer (I really don't need it I just don't want to transport my PC back and forth everyday)

The build can either be Intel or AMD, and I don't really have any brand specific parts to ask for except for the case to be Either a Fractal or an NZXT Phantom 810

  • How much are you willing to spend? I have a budget of $2950, but I would like to spend around $2600
  • I live in America.
  • I prefer Newegg.com and Amazon.com as my retailers, but I guess any online store will do.
  • I will need two monitors, both 1080p and with IPS.
  • I will need this to be a multi-use PC. I will be using Programs like Adobe Photoshop Cs6, Lightroom, After Affects, Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Design and Web and the like. If you can't tell I will be doing a lot of Graphic design and digital artwork (I sometimes get large scale projects like 18'x44' @ 600dpi), I also do video-editing)
  • I'm not sure if I will be overclocking, but the option to do so should be there.
  • I do not need an OS, or Keyboard or Mouse.

Also this will be used for gaming on breaks during the day.

I would like to be able to play most games on high at 60+ FPS.

This is what I was thinking:

Thanks in advance!

Looks like a pretty solid build.  That PSU looks discontinued on Newegg, though.  Might wanna look into that.

why not go with 2 770s or a single 780?

Totally flew by my head that he chose 680s in SLI.  I'd get a single GTX 780 and a larger SSD.

Thanks, If I were to go with a single GTX780 is there one that I should pick above the rest?

Thanks for the heads up. I went and checked and it has not been discontinued.
