Diffrent CPU Loads under TaskManger and AFterburner

Hey Guys,

first of all hello I am new to the Tek empire but I love the Tek Syndicate and cant get enough of the videos.

So now to my problem. I decided to go for Windows 8.1 since I saw how cool is startisback. Okay first step save the data on my data graves and make a clean install of Windows 8.1. Install all drivers I need - get back to my GPU Overclock and finaly run BF4

First Problem was I ran into the memory leak problem in BF4 with AMD cards. I found a way to keep playing for about 4-5 maps before I have to restart. Thats enoying but manageable.

My real concern is the following. If I open the Task Manager while I am running BF4 I have 90-100% CPU Load. If I look it up on MSI Afterburner I am at 50-70% on all cores. I tried this fix http://gamecliche.com/fix-cpu-lag-battlefield-4/ with the recommended tool. In my opionion all it does is disable the Intel ernegy save mechanism because after I down it my CPU simply stuck at max Clock of 4.5 Ghz all the time. No more down clocking in Idle.

But this "solution" isnt one because the problem remains. Still 90-100% CPU Usage in Taskmanager and 50-70% in Afterburner.......

Plz help :D

Oh yeah my System:

i5 2500K@ 4.5 Ghz

6950@6970@900Mhz

8Gig 1333 G.Skill Sniper

650W PSU

Asus Sabertooth P67

Win 8.1 Enterprise

Well if BF4 has problems then just wait for the developers to patch it up and AMD to make the drivers better.

As for the difference between windows task manager and afterburner might be FPU utilization ... the former might not take it into consideration and the latter might. (not sure about this) It's certainly nothing to worry about.

Well I did some testing.. turns out it is the same with other Games and Programms.

Tera:

Task Manger: 80%

Afterburner: 50-60%

Valley Benchmark:

Task Manager: 60%

Afterburner: between 25-45%

under Prime 95 both show 100% load.,..

And since BF4 runs pretty good (regarding my "badish" GPU) I am not that worried.. I just want to know how much my CPU is actually stressed. Because if it really is at 100% now with BF4 it wont take that long since I have to upgrade the CPU and that was not in my plans for atleast 1-2 years.

And a friend of mine runs a 2600K which just chills out at BF4...
