OK so I was using MSI Afterburner to OC my GPU (MSI GTX970) and I extremely stupidly set a max overclock just to see what would happen. My screen turned pink and artifacted like crazy so I immediately restarded my PC. Everything seemed to be fine however my PC refuses to launch any game and simply gives me a massive number of error messages including one that says my display adapter has crashed. I can get the Witcher 3 running but I am getting 15 fps on low whereas I was getting 60fps on high/max before. I know I screwed up my question is how bad. Can I fix this? I would probably cry if my $350 gpu that I have been waiting 4 years to have enough money to buy died...
Reset to stock speeds, if problem persists increase voltage just a bit and test again ~Chances you've nerfed it. Reset it, box it back up and RMA it. Then pray to the silicon gods you get a new one and consider it a humble lesson learned.
