Mobo is: Asus M5A99FX2 Pro R.2
So about 2 months ago I started using this board on recommendation from a friend. About 1 month ago I moved my PC to do some cleaning and cable clean up and added my SSD.
After that day my Ethernet port has been dead and I figured it was my carelessness and I killed it with static when I moved the case. Not a huge deal, bought a PCI card and added a new one, problem solved.
Today (this last week) I have noticed on startup sometimes my tv doesn't play the computers audio and it's not recognized in the playback devices menu. By default it is SPDIF but I have never used that in my life.
Restart the computer and then the issue goes away! No big deal right? Recently when I threw a second 290 in I come to find that my second PCIe slot is completely dead.
So long story short, did I kill it with a discharge when I was moving it around?
