i have a i5k 4th gen overclocked with the asus mobo switch and memtest 86 is calling it an i7 at 4126MHz
is it broken ??

Well if it still runs fine, then I wouldn't be to concerned, and maybe if you got lucky then they accidentally sent you an I7 :P
that would be amazing but my bios says it's an i5 lol
memtest probably needs an update to recognize Haswell. Did everything pass memtest?
Did the asus overclock tool change the FSB/bus speed? I noticed when I change mine a lot of programs can't read my correct clock speed.
