Today, my PR for the logos has been merged. I know that this is technically almost two hours after the end of january (kentucky time), but since the PR was out of my control and that it had gone unanswered for over three weeks I still count this as the project having finished on time.
With the PR being merged, the Logo looks way better on the dark theme:
