Desperate help needed

So i have had my PC about a year and a half now and yesterday i went to move it to clean. Then i go to power it on but no display and 5 beeps (motherboard fault). Then i took the Ram out booted and turned off and re installed RAM and no it gives no beeps and no display but turns Everything on. I have tried removing the CMOS battery and reinstalling and still nothing. then i went barebones and did a out of case test with nothing but the RAM, CPU, GPU, Heatsink attached and still nothing. Tried both HDMI and VGA. No luck. MY board doesnt support on board video.

Plzz help me im desperate.

Will link parts but they are also in my bio

EDIT:

computer specs:

CPU: AMD FX 6300

MOBO: Asrock 990FX Extreme 3

RAM: 8GB Corsair vengeance (2x4gb) 1866ghz

GPU: Powercooler HD Radeon 7770 (upgrade soon maybe)

Case: Getting NZXT Switch 810

HDD: WD 1TB Cavier black

SSD: Don't have one yet

CPU Cooler: Cooler master 212 evo, looking to water cool

PSU: 800W storm (Bought separately from a local computer shop(Defection with original))

Anything i have left out ?

Also i think the warranty has run out so im hoping for some good luck!

do fans spin, or leds light up?

yes they do EVERYTHING turns on and lights up but no display and no beep>

(Also makes all the usual little noises when a computer boots)

hmm thats odd. do you have the abillity to test the gpu in a diffrent system?

Also wenn you took out the cmos battery, did you unplug it from the wall first?

maybe it's your monitor?

wenn the drives start to load etc, then its indeed very odd.

no unfortunately i have the only desktop( atleast untill i ask the local computer guy if i can test it

no i tried two and they both work

well you striped it down to bare, and try´d it outside the case. and still no screen.

hmm, my bad feeling dud mobo, or something with the gpu.

And it was unplugged from the wall yes

A possibility is that a power lead somewhere came loose when you cleaned it. The chances of that being the case are bigger than part damage. Did you check all the connections? Maybe rewire the whole thing to make sure.

I'd bet there is a power connection loose or a wire that's not reconnected in the right manner.

could be possible, allways triple check all power connections.

Yes all power connections were took out and re put in

Really thats bad news dude but thanks for the help

your best bett, is going to the local shop then, and ask them if they could help you test your parts.

It sounds like the mobo to me, but im offcourse not sure.

also try to reseat the cpu.

only thing you can do now is test different parts of your hardware with parts that are known to be working

i would start with the GPU, hopefully you have a cheap vga card you can test with.

ok thanks man for all the help

Unfortunately not but the local computer guy drinks in my pub so im going to get him to test it in one of his systems for me as i have singled it down to either the GPU or MOBO which sucks both ways and my MOBO is out of warranty and the 2 year warranty for powercooler is us and canada and im uk :(

Try running downloading and installing memtester86 on a usb drive and boot up on that, if you get any mistakes it's probely your RAM which is dead, otherwhise my bet is the motherboard, if fans are spinning up on stuff. This seems very similar to a problem I had, and that was the motherboard which was dead, I sent it RMA to Asus and got a brand new. So yeah, my bet would be the motherboard, or the RAM but try running that memtester, if you can't even get to BIOS it's prob the GPU as you should at least see the POST, and get a splash screen for your mobo, you don't got another GPU lying around to test it do you?

Can you not even get to Bios?
