Desktop not starting

My gaming desktop is not staying on. Every time I turn the power on it clicks on for a second and then immediately shuts off. I've replaced the power supply, CPU, motherboard, and RAM. I've tried every outlet and surge protector in my room and have checked every screw and cord in the system. My current build is as follows:
AMD FX 8350 (original CPU was the same)
M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard (Replaced M5A97 R2.0)
8 GB G.Skill RipjawsX (Replaced 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM)
ASUS DirectCU II 780 Ti
3TB Seagate Baricuda HDD
120GB Kingston SSD
EVGA 850 GQ (Replaced Rosewill 650)

take it down to bare essentials outside of the case. (Only 1 stick of ram, no hard drives, no keyboard/mouse, etc) and see if it will boot. if not then try the stick of ram in different slots.

I've tried that as well, same problem.

outside of the case?

Yep, when I got the new motherboard that was the first thing I tried. It kicked on for a second than shut off. Now that I think about it, I might have forgotten switch the RAM around, let me try that.

Eureka, it started up, must of screwed up with the RAM. Any advice for installing it into the case again.

check to see if there is any way the case could touch your motherboard and cause a fault.

Alright,thank you! You're a life saver.
