Hi,

I'm thinking if buying the Dell XPS m1710 off eBay for $419. I know its a pretty old computer, but I was wondering if it would be a good enough laptop for me to take to clasd for notes, as well as doing light gaming at LAN parties. I really like the look of the laptop. It has 4gb of ram, 500gb hdd, intel core 2 duo T7400, and an nvidia GeForce go 7900gtx graphics card. Would it be good for LAN parties, multimedia, and notetaking? All comments are welcome.

My freind has one of those and its pretty low performace machine I would save your money until you have like $600 and buy something else.
