I am wanting to build a test server/workstation using conventional consumer hardware, my question is will this
RAID card work in a non Dell environment?
Basically I want a Linux workstation, not a NAS or SAN device.

I was watching a YouTube video and Wendell showed a RAID controller that looked very much like this device.

Thank you very much for the quick reply and information.

You may need to flash the controller it to get to support higher capacity Drives.
Mine only supports 2TB drives, but found a way to use 3TB drives on it.
