Dell U2913WM UltraSharp any good for gaming?

I play World of Warcraft, Counter Strike Global Offensive, Simcity, and a few other games. I am just wondering if ultrawide monitors are any good for gaming?

For casual gaming you'll be just fine gaming on that.  However, I noticed that you have CS:GO on your list of games, so if you're going to be playing more competitively, this isn't the greatest monitor due to the somewhat low response time and the fact that the refresh rate is only 60Hz.  I'm currently gaming on the Dell Ultrasharp U2412M, and while it's a gorgeous monitor for non-competitive games like Bioshock and Skyrim (with mods!), in games like Battlefield 4 it does suffer from only getting 60fps.  So if you're serious in games like CS:GO, I'd recommend getting a 120/144Hz monitor like the BenQ XL2420TE.  Otherwise, the U2913WM will work just fine.

Hope that helped :)

I'm a very casual player of CS:GO, I'm much more into raiding in WoW. Thanks for the input, I know I'll probably buy it to supplement my current configuration of an HP ZR24w which I love, but I'm getting cramped now that my 21" NEC 2180UX is on the fritz. Kinda missing having 3520x1200 (1920x1200 + 1600x1200) of usable screen real estate and figured the dell could replace both of them and allow me to use the ZR24w in portrait for reading forums/wikipedia.

Thanks! :)

Was looking at this monitor as well, thought on ultra widescreen or eyefinity? thoughts problems or pros or cons would be helpful

I've used eyefinity with 3x27" monitors and the bezels drove me absolutely insane. Not to mention, the constant looking left and right really hurts your neck after awhile. Mind you, this was even with AOC i2757fh monitors, which is probably one of the thinnest bezels you can get on a 27" monitor.
