Dell R410 H700 problem

I just received a Dell R410 I got off Ebay.

It has an H700 in the PCI-e slot. No SAS 6/iR.

It has no backplane, there is an SFF 8087 (?) cable that splits into four combined sata + power connectors.

Booting the thing up shows :

See if you can download the RAID controller firmware (from Dell’s site) and re-flash it.

Sounds like it’s an LSI logic based controller.

I managed to get it working by using a Smart Bootable USB from Dell’s website
