Dell AT102W "Semi-clicky" Keyboard

So was going through the back storehouse at work looking for some spare parts when i came across an old keyboard at first glance i just dismissed it as another typical generic membrane keyboard. However my curiosity forced me to type on them tasty looking keys.  The result??? Well i found out it was a mechanical keyboard using ALPS black switches was bummed it wasn the At101w as they use super clicky ALPS white switches. Anyway asked my boss if i could have it and he said no problem. So heres soe pictures. =[)

Nice find, not really worth much because most KB enthusiasts don't like black alps but sitll better than a membrane keyboard for sure.

Haha i agree not feeling the blacks. still going to invest in a Model M But the more the merrier =P

Lucky guy :3. I wonder if this will convince "gamers" alot, the good ol mechanical keyboard

im a gamer and will still prefer a ggood mech even for gaming. I like them because you know youve hit the button correctly.

The problem is most of the big name keyboards use MX blue switches which are actually bad for gaming, if you're a double tapper who rides the actuation point it doesn't work on blue. Browns red and blacks are better for gaming than anything else though.
