I did an analysis of my ssd boot drive as a joke, turns out its 66% fragmented according to defraggler. I seen a post on crutial's website stating that defraging an ssd will give you nearly no performance increase. also i'm wondering about it killing the life span of the drive. soo just leave it alone or is it bullshit?
ssd are meant to write randomly, that's where they get some of their speed, while hdds write in a line on the disk.
defragging an ssd is retarded and you'll probably break it :P
nooooooooooo. don't do it, and don't put them in raid 5 or 6!
kk cool thx fellas
