Pretty cool little cooler. I like the very unique aesthetic (I know many won’t, but it’s subjective). Performs pretty well and it’s nice to see more threadripper-focused coolers coming out giving consumers a choice.

You mentioned this cooler will fit on AM4. I would have liked to see how and if the massive contact plate made any difference, good or bad, on AM4 than a standard size tower cooling solution.

I say all this because I am looking for a cooler that I can move from my current AM4 to TR4 if/when the Epic opportunity be Ryzen. From what I remember none of the noctua TR4 coolers are compatible with AM4 making deepcool have an angle I can get behind in spite of its lower performance.

Much love for all you do Wendell and crew… Striker signing off

Hardware Unboxed JUST did a review on this thing and begs to differ…

YES, this thing can run a 2990WX:

Noise wise though, they ran their tests at a locked RPM of 1900RPM, so kinda noisy.

Glad to hear the NH-U14S TR4-SP3 still holds up. But the backwards compatibility and relative compactness of the Fryzen is certainly neat. And it has Gaming in the name to boot!

The Wraith Ripper is probably held back by its 120mm fan even though the cooler itself is huge.

Nothing a dryer hose, zip ties, duckt tape and case fan can´t fix…
