Deciding Computer parts (a cry for help :s)

Hey Tek Community :)

I am a noob when it comes to computer building, so if you sense any derpiness, you understand why :s.

Through one of the PC builds that Logan made (I cannot remember the specific one) I have somehow customized it to my preference/price range, and have narrowed it to this : -

SSD: Samsung 840 Series Pro 512GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive: £354.99.
Motherboard: Asus P9X79 DELUXE ATX LGA2011 Motherboard: £315.31.
 RAM: Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB): £113.39.
Graphics Card: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 690 Graphics Card: £798.99.
Water Cooler: Corsair Hydro H110 Liquid Cooling System: £101.95.
PSU: Corsair CX750 Builder Series CX 750W: £67.97 (quite hesitant on choosing this PSU).
Case: Corsair CC800DW Obsidian Series 800D: £237.07 (big case for easier upgrade in future).

Total: £1876.28

The processor I want is the AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (£150.94 +cluding total = £2027.22). But I don't know if the selected motherboard that Logan chose will be able to 'work' with the processor Im choosing, because whenever I try to see how many cores the motherboard can handle on amazon, it only states the processor(s) from the Intel brand. And to be honest, I rather change my motherboard than to pay maybe double the price for an intel processor which will not provide 8 cores. So, what Im asking is... what motherboard can handle 8 cores and the other stuff I'll be adding onto it? (Please make it within the price range if you can)

And if you have cheaper and better alternatives to the parts im going to be using, please feel free to put in what you can! I am open for changes! (And maybe a smaller price range, like £1500)

Thanks! :)

I think you are looking at this from the wrong angle, you should first decide what you want to do with your rig before choosing ANY parts, please state the required usages.

and that mobo will NEVER work with that cpu ;)

It seems as if you just took the most expensive parts you could find and put them together.
