Decent GPU for experimenting with AI?

I’m looking to get a GPU I can use to start experimenting with local AI.

I don’t have a specific AI model in mind.

Would something like a used P40 be a decent place to start?

I heard Wendell say in a recent podcast that a gaming GPU with 20+ RAM would be best for AI.

But if you want a power efficient GPU (70w TDP) that has a lot of RAM, Wendell recommended the RTX 2000 Ada Generation. Its pricy on the 1000+ USD retail (MSRP is 650 USD). Its currently 1589 USD off Amazon :frowning_face: :crazy_face: :clown_face:
