Figured this was a little too skimpy of a story to add to the mess that is our main blog. Hell, the goddamn story is in the title! The EA store is having a special where you can get 40% off on the digital edition of Dragon Age: Origins if you preorder the expansion pack "Awakening" from now until the expansion comes out on March 16th. In other words, this means you get both for $69.95 USD if you don't already own DA:O on the PC. Personally, I'm a damned money wasting Collectors Edition whore, so I'd go find that one shrink-wrapped somewhere and buy Awakening after many weeks of the base game. Did I mention I haven't played the game yet but am willing to drop around $80 for the CE just because I'm a Bioware fanass? I'm not even joking. Love 'em like hentai.
You can find the deal here. As far as I know, the EA store is the only place to get the deal.
On the topic of Bioware and deals, they also announced their next DLC for Mass Effect 2, "Firewalker", which will include five new missions and the Hammerhead hover craft that is supposedly the Mako that doesn't suck. It will be released in late March and will be free of charge to those who received a Cerberus Network pass with ME2.[src]
I shall quickly depart before I see the old "Ya know, I got 100% off when I downloaded it from [insert torrent site name here]" joke - as if anyone would find it funny enough to elicit more than a kind of smirk and a "Heh" through one's nose - and slay 100 newborn anthropomorphic capybara babies.
