DDR5 rdimm mini itx motherboard?

So I have this 256GB of ddr5 rdimm that I haven’t been able to offload so I was thinking of using it in a new build.

Would like to do a smaller build but the motherboards I’ve found so far all seem to be fairly large. Which considering makes sense and this may just be too niche of an idea. Figured I would see if anyone had any suggestions before I toss it in the trash.

Don’t really want to build a full on workstation but some ecc rdimms sounds kinda sexy for a forbidden router right?

  1. don’t throw those things out, they are worth something.

  2. RDIMMS have a physically different slot than standard DIMMS so they aren’t going to fit into anything else.

  3. mATX server class MBs exist but if you don’t want the expense of that then you are better off selling the memory.

Check Asrock Rack’s website for some mATX server boards. Supermicro also makes them. Don’t throw the memory away - or throw it my way if you really have to, lol

Seriously though, you can sell that kinda stuff on eBay and this forum also has a buy/sell/trade section.
