How risky is buying a gpu with two smd capacitors (is that what they are called?) broken off.

The seller was installing an aftermarket cooler and says that he accidentally ripped them off.
I have replaced normal round capacitors before and i just want to know if these small smd capacitors can be identified, bought, and installed easily.
Is this even worth attempting?
Unless you can score it for literally close to f#%k all then dont bother. It may not be the only part that is damaged. Dont know how the hell he knocked those 2 specific caps off installing a cooler either. Yeah seems like a bullshit story to me.
SMD caps are no harder than other caps to replace I assume you have a decent tip to work with. I buy caps just off ebay but make sure I get japanese made ones.
For identifying you should see, 3 numbers (or maybe 4) First two or three digits are the significant digits, and the last digit is the multi (as an exp. of 10). "533" for example, represents 53 with three zeros after it: 53000 = 53 kΩ.
Can also be something like 4R8 in which the R means decimal so.... 4.8 Ω.
Worst case find an old card you dont like, look for a cap that looks the same, pry it off and give it a try.
Hope this is of some help mate.
All the best.
Thank you very much for the info, It will come in handy when I need to make another repair. (xbox motherboard has a broken smd)
The card i was planning to buy was a broken r9 290 off ebay, however the price got pretty silly after a while ($180) I think so I let it go.. however I waited and ended up winning a working r9 290 for $226 shipped ^^ .
