DAC's and Amplifiers. Do you need? I'm not going to say everyone will benefit from a good dac and amp. But everyone can benefit from a good dac and amp. Soundstage, Low-end, clarity in highs can all be improved buy an amp no matter if a can is Easy or Hard to drive. A dac or an amp or combination of both can make a world of difference but unfortunately you won't know if you benefit until you try.

aka amps help power cans and dacs well maybe it might change something

Tubes. Everyone also needs tubes.

Tubes are fun

Id rather use tubes on something that doesnt have great bass than something that does

Well from what I've experienced it gives headphones a warmer buzzer sound which I think is more pronounced on the really detailed accurate headphones

Stage gear sounds better than DAC powered headphones to me.

Dunno why. I just like my big speex I guess :3
