I wanted to know if you had the choice of buying a cyberpower pc gamer ultra 2028 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229285)
or building one yourself for around 600 or 650, what would you choose?

Most people here will choose build.
So, to be a rebel, I will choose the cyberpower. MUAHAHAH
You're such a rebel! I aspire to be as rebellious as you.
Also I'd pick built. I've heard bad things about CyberPower.
I choose build because I can do it myself. besides warranty is covered on individual parts. I have seen people mail there whole rig back if something is wrong.
you can build a computer with better specs for that price.
Build Budget (AMD)
build it yourself. its not hard to build a pc, you get a sense of accomplishment, and well.... you fucking built it. not to meniton you will get more performance for your $$$ because the company adds a hundred bucks or so on the price tag as profit.
Yeah, not to mention, I built mine with very large "headroom". It's supped for 5+ years :)
Researching is only the crucial thing. If you ever need more asistance, ask us anytime.
My brother bought that exact same one, before he returned it. When it got here. The GPU was shot, the HDD was just "bouncing" around the case, cables were not even managed, the front fan was not plugged in, the PSU was just garbage(un-brannded 300W.) Don't buy Cyberpower.
Here ya go ya little scamp. This build will absolutely shit on that CyberPower build.
I would build it for 1 reason, there is a certian feeling of accomplishment when you build a rig.
Build it. You'll learn more and appreciate it more and it will cost you less. Also, lol at Cyberdemon :)
When I first built my rig, I had a $300 Budget. So I decided to use
Case: Logisys Area 51
Motherboard: Asus M4A77D
CPU: AMD Sempron 140 2.8 Ghz
RAM: PQI 4 Gig DDR2 Kit
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4670
PSU: Eagle Tech 600 Watt (I regret getting that PSU)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB HDD
and a few other small things. I also had a CRT Monitor at the time when I first built my new rig. Check my Profile Page for the current specs
