I am dying to get Cyanogenmod 11 on my S5 but so far they have only come out with nightly's and I'm tired of waiting. Problem is I haven't the slightest idea on what I'm doing. Feel like I'm reading Chinese. If someone could please dummy proof it for me i would really appreciate it!
Uh, it's simple.
Root > Install a recovery (Razhr in the play store) > Put CM file on SD card > wipe OS > install zip.
Check CM's website, or youtube if you need more help.
EDIT: CM isn't available for ATT phones at this time.
Haha why wouldn't they be. I appreciate man. Glad i didn't try to install it.
ATT enforces OS signing, something CM can't support at this time.
