Custom Ubuntu Live Disc?

I want to make a custom Ubuntu or Linux live disc that has a fully functional PTS running on it with a bunch of specific test suites loaded onto it already. I want to use it for stress testing and diagnostics etc. Phoronix was supposed to have come out with another version but the last one they released was 2010.

I got into this back in Ubuntu 8-something and started making custom live usb's. It was easy; all done from gui. Run the live disc, download a package that makes live discs out of the currently running system, add the stuff you want, run that program. Can't remember it's name though. I'll search around.

I think it was Remastersys.

SuSE Studio though, any custom GNU/Linux distro, and package in any format, testdrive in a VM on their servers before you download... all through encrypted socket (traffic with Ubuntu/Debian repositories isn't even encrypted, so completely different league, like 20 years of evolution apart)... it's pretty amazing!
