Hello everybody , i am new in the world of pc and i was planning on buying parts for a pc and building it myself.

Here i have the parts list and was wondering if it would work and if its a good idea. Also with links to the website of the part describing it and the features and a website to where to purchase it.

If anyone could please respond to this post on helping me with the parts and seeing if it will function, ive looked into most of the parts and it seems to look as if it will work.

I would take $100 off your motherboard choice there are so many good motherboards in the $100 to $150 range that you should get. That hundred should go to the gpu or ssd. and $100 for a 500 wd black is a rip off.

Yeah, i was thinking about switching motherboards but i cant find a case just yet.

throw another 8gb and a harddrive in and you will like!

Yeah, get the blue drives or something since it's just a storage device. And get at least a 120gb ssd for boot and installing your programs. You will eat up your 60gb quick.

For the mobo, you could look at the ASrock z77 Extreme4 ; I use this, and I got no real complains. I also use the G. Skill sniper 8gb, but take note, it says 1.25v on the packaging, depending on your board, you might want to raise it to 1.3-1.5v in order for it to run properly.

Didn't check links. Cheaper mobo, Cheaper HDD:1b should be ~80$, better gpu/cpu .

Thanks, i got that mobo and changed some other things, i might make a list and post it later as an update, maybe you should check it out!? See if its any better.
