i personaly prefer to use part picker to selecting parts for a build.
What is your budget, and do you also need peripherals?

whats peripherals? and really 2,000. i wasn't worried about spending the extra because of the life time warranty and i didn't have to build it myself

10/10 graphics. Must be some pretty powerful stuff.

As far as i can see, its not a bad pre configured build.
But i think its a bit on the expensive side.
Especialy if you keep in mind that theire is not an unlocked K cpu in that build..

Also it doesn't say what brand the 980 ti is.

it is their brand, if you go through the reviews of the site. they dont have a bad one, A+ credited business.
im going through that parts picker site and have noticed a huge difference in price..but no life time warranty and id have to build it. They only have ASUS, MSI, EVGA.

Well honnestly in my opinnion they ask way to much money for that setup.

Here is a very similar setup with a i7-6700K instead of a i5-6600 locked.

So your budget is 2k and you're in the US?

Because I'd maybe start here, and then the 2nd question becomes, do you have room for a 40" 4k display?

Display starts at $699, but it can run 4k or 120Hz 1080p

yes, and thank you @MisteryAngel i will check that out.

@Streetguru i dont plan on playing in 4k for a while. i wouldnt go past 1980 honestly.

Yeah but which one is it? I'm usually pretty skeptical about buying something when I don't even know what I'm buying.

Also I promise you I they don't manufacture their own RAM and SSDs. They re-brand them like everyone else.

MSI mainly.

Also 850W is basicly a bit overkill for what a setup like i have configured realy needs.
The main reason i selected the RM850, is to make it as similar as possible to the build you have selected.
And it was basicly on just $5,- more then the RM650, so you cant complain there.

But if you want to cheaper psu then a EVGA Supernova 650W GS for example would also be totaly fine.

You can actually run the less intensive games at 4k such as Dota, and LoL, anything source 1 and older, and most indie games I'd imagine

Plus if you invest in the display now you basically never have to worry about buying a new one

Whatever you do, do not buy those krakens. I bought a pair before I knew about tech and they are horrible. The ear cups are tiny and they feel like someone screwed a C clamp on your head.

Well for the mouse what kind of games do you play

You really probably don't need 16gbs of RAM with an i5, and that motherboard as well is a bit overpriced

I'd advise against a headset

And finally you could save a fair amount of cash going with a Fury(non X) and getting a free-sync display, basically the same as that monitor, but $100 less, and another 100 or so saved on the GPU

Kingston SSD now´s are not that great, there is a batch which had issues with their chips,
i would recommend to change that SSD for a Samsung 850 EVO or something similar.

WD caviar black, basicly a sollid HDD, but its a bit overprised.
WD blue drives are just as good, but cheaper.

Psu i would personaly feel more comfortable with a slightly higher wattage, wenn it comes to a GTX980Ti.
550W should basicly be fine by the way, still i would personaly feel more comfortable with a 650W psu.

I have this setup. Can recommend.

Also +1 to the fury.
