Custom firmware flash to silence enterprise hdd possible?

is there a way to load a custom firmware on an hdd to silence it at the cost of some performance and has anyone here done sth. like it already?
something with similar result to the sadly gone aam (automatic acoustic management)

i run my system throughout the night preferably seeding in the same room i sleep in and i had to make a storage upgrade and went with an 8 TB 256 MB cache WD gold (WD8003FRYZ)
this being an enterprise drive it is very loud under random reads, which is exactly what seeding will do of course, thus the issue.
i like the drive with the exception of the sound level and all other 8 TB+ helium drives from wd/hgst would have similar sound level issues i believe.

ps: first post, so pls say if i should change sth. and also iā€™m open for other suggestions to solve my storage issue

Not really. Enterprise drives take 0 account for noise. Server rooms dont really care about noise to the point where you have to wear ear protection because its so loud.

Your best option is to just too seed from a ssd or a quieter drive and when your done just move the files off it
