Currently running on old laptop

I am looking to build my first gaming pc and i have little knowledge on what i should be looking for and purchasing.

Is this worth the $1235? or should i go else where

Not a spesific suggestion, however I highly reccomend getting a high quality air cooler, such as a Thermal RIght ultra 120 any other aircooler around this quality. They will be just as good as a premade loop of this size which just adds more complication and price to your build for almost no extra cooling preformance.

first, turn off caps lock on the title, thats just annoying.

second, build your own pc. its easy and there are tons of tutorials on youtube. its like legos for grown ups now adays. you will get so much better parts.

third, if you are feeling nervous about building it yourself, i suggest ibuypower... my friend has bought from there twice and liked what he got.

I'll put up one in a little bit

mine has a WAY better GPU, double HDD space as well as Intel smart response that allows you to use your 60GB SSD to Cache your HDD and make it faster.

The CPU stock beats the AMD one Overclocked but I don't recommend Overclocking on that cooler, just to keep the stock temps down and quiet.

the Motherboard is ASUS which is the beenees of quality and features of motherboards with high quality inspected parts, overclocks nicely, rich in slots and features like USAP USB 3.0 which is Real USB 3

the Case looks decent and has front panel USB 3 and 3 fans, I would move the side fan into the botton side vent for extra GPU cooling

you will not need 1866 16GB of ram, you won't even need 8GB but its nice to have a little extra.

the Monitor is a half a inch smaller but has a higher pixel density of FULL 1080p

noted.

thanks for the suggestion. after some investigation i went to pcpartpicker
