Hey guys, I have recently purchased Crysis and when I try to change the resolution that I play at in the drop-down menu the only option I have is 1280x720 (See Below).

I want to play at 1920x1080 but this is preventing me from doing so and its quite frustrating as I can play at this resolution in any other game. I have edited the Config file to my desired resolution and when I load up the game the picture (1280x720) is displayed in the top-left corner with and black filling the remaining space around about it.

My PC Specs are: - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
- EVGA GTX 260 Core 216 SC Edition
- XFX 680i SLI Motherboard
- Windows Vista 32-Bit
I am also using component (YPbPr) from my graphics card to my TV.
i had the same problem with crysis, i wanted to run it on 1680x1050 but only 1600x1200 showed up. you need to create a custom file, just create a file called autoexec.cfg and manually put in the resolution settings. i did this a while ago so i dont remember what to put in it but try googling "autoexec.cfg crysis" and you should come up with something.
Yeah, I looked out the box and it says it can do 1080i. I think maybe Crysis detects that Im running on a TV and "assumes" that I can only achieve 720p.
To buttholecancer580: I tried that and I assume you put that file in the Crysis install folder?
Well 720p is actually better than 1080i in terms of quality if you want 1080i your going to have to write an edit for the file. You can find the guide online.
