my electricity is part of my rent which will be the same cost regardless of how much i use. it's priced so the landlord makes a profit not based off of the actual avg use of my household or then mean of the neighborhood. so since i already have a gpu and mining wont cost me more then im already paying might as well get some eth.
I tried that nicehash thing. IMO if I was going to hobbyist mine I'd just use that. Bitcoin seems like the only coin with any staying power, so I'd rather have bitcoin than eth.
if you don't have a lot of hashpower just use one of the hash renting services like nicehash. ehtereum hasn't been profitable since the craze started.
~googles~ is this legit? claims about 40$ above the mounthly amount i get from eth but thats with eth at a low atm of 240~ and since the reason it is at a low is so many people cashing out since the big eth heist, it makes sense eth will go back up long term.
The cratering correction was before the heist, man. ETH price is entirely supported by bubbles and empty promises.
multiminers and hash renters are a way more profitable option on the small scale.
