I recently purchased this monitor from dreamsller and it included a display port cable, however windows doesn't seem to recognize the display correctly as the maxium resolution shows as 2048x1536 rather than 3840x2160
is anyone else having a similar problem
That's odd. I wonder if the monitors controller has a limitation for display port for some reason? Would be unlikely but it wouldn't hurt to try another input type?
in hdmi i get 4026x2160 which doesn't make sense in the manuel it says the max res it 3840x2160
interestingly uninstnalling all video card drivers i see the proper resolution however screen is black if i select it
are you using Nvidia or AMD?
using an amd r9 270x
I'd try a higher quality DisplayPort cable. No longer than 6'.
ill try that and report when i can
was able to get it to work with a new cable. Interestingly it is showing as 4096x2160 60hz rather than 3840x2160 no complaints here though
