Crossfire on the r9 290x

I will be purchasing the r9 290x soon. I have a asus directCU II OP radeon hd 7790 and was wondering if i could or if it would be a good idea to run crossfire on it with the r9 290x.

You can't crossfire a 7790 and a 290x.
